Understanding begins by dialogue: Meet Milano, because the growth to continue

The traditional Chinese art follows a long cultural journey that lives in constant transformation and evolution. It represents the historical memory of the millenary China and the valuable intangible heritage.

contemporary era, exploring the relationship between the past and the present, build an opening to the outside world and confront the realities of different cultures are current issues for the formation of the new generations.

With this premise, Milan Art & Events Center is pleased to host the exhibition Meet Milano—Dialogue & Growth, Children’s Art from China, promossa dal Comune di Tianjin* e dal Tianjin Youth and Children’s Center. Ragazzi di 12 anni, che sono stati selezionati dall’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Tianjin, espongono le loro creazioni realizzate con la tecnica del taglio della carta, con Tie-dye (tintura a riserva), incisione e scultura in bronzo. L’obiettivo dell’iniziativa è da un lato presentare le espressioni giovanili dell’arte tradizionale cinese reinterpretate nel segno della contemporaneità, e dall’altro far dialogare i ragazzi cinesi con i loro coetanei italiani (e non solo) per creare insieme un ponte di comunicazione e di amicizia. I ragazzi cinesi porteranno alcuni omaggi dalla città di Tianjin per i ragazzi italiani che interverranno all’inaugurazione.

We invite our friends to participate in this particular event, created to promote exchanges between the new generations of the two countries millennial culture.

The invitation is addressed especially to families who have children aged between 10 and 14 years.
