The Others Art Fair , Turin's contemporary art fair, has reached its fourteenth edition. MA-EC Gallery is participating again this year and will be present at Booth 23 .

The title of this edition, The future is here, right now !, is an invitation to imagine a future that shouldn't simply be awaited or observed, but rewritten through the proposals of young galleries and non-profit spaces : entities capable of anticipating what will be—or could be—the art system of tomorrow, or at least a possible declination of it.

Hosted for the second consecutive year in the spaces of the ITCILO, the International Training Centre of the ILO (International Labour Organization) in Turin, the fair will be held from 30 October to 2 November 2025 and will involve emerging galleries, independent spaces and transdisciplinary projects that will give life to new installations , performances and exhibitions.

The project MA-EC presents at The Others brings together two young Chinese artists who love to experiment, using artificial intelligence, interactive technologies, and 3D, and an established Colombian artist who masters both oil, silverpoint, and watercolor, remaining faithful to the tradition of painting. The juxtaposition of these very different styles, while initially disorienting, prompts the viewer to reflect on the universality of art and how art, manifested in the most diverse forms, can stir hearts and spark debate.

Ziggy (Zhenglong) Yang is a Chinese artist based in New York whose practice focuses on the experimental exploration of medium as both material and interface. Through his installations, he examines how urban, cultural, and technological ecologies subtly yet powerfully shape perception, behavior, and interior life—especially in an age of accelerated technological progress. Ziggy presents a ceramic relief sculpture created through digital modeling and 3D printing.

Una Qingwen Zhang is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and researcher who uses technology to create sensory encounters through smell and taste. Using food and history as her lenses, she explores how individual and collective lives are intrinsically diverse yet profoundly connected across space and time. In this project, she presents a triptych of emblematic paintings from different eras and styles, both English and American.

Jorge Cavelier paints mostly landscapes, but they don't lead to any specific place: rivers and forests, mountains and mangroves, or seas are, above all, passages to contemplative states. They don't describe a particular place; they transport us to all the spaces humanity has traversed throughout time. Currently, the MA-EC Gallery in Milan has a solo exhibition of his work titled Il Canto dell'acqua, which will be open until November 11, 2025.
