Tannaz Lahiji was born in Tehran, Iran  from a family of artists, mother painter, father painter and  teacher at the School of Visual Arts of Tehran where the young Tannaz 1997 he studies and is diploma in painting.

From 1997 to 2002 he attended and obtained a degree in painting at the Free University of Art e Architettura di Tehran.

At the same time as his studies in the years between 1999 and 2003 he immediately began a promising artistic career and the first experience of teaching Artistic Drawing for children aged between i 6 and 12 years. In the same years between 2000-2001 he became a teacher of Anatomy at the University of Art

of Tehran. From 2002 to 2003 he was director of the Jahan Nama Gallery & Niavaran Palace Museum in Tehran.

He moved to Florence in 2004 and in 2005 he obtained a Master in Visual Arts at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Florence (LABA). In 2006 she was curator at the Homa Gallery in Tehran. In the same year he collaborated for a workshop at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art together with the respective artistic director. In 2008 he became a teacher of Drawing at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Florence (LABA) and in 2008 he enrolled in the Specialist course in Multimedia Language at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.

He is currently a lecturer in the chair of Drawing, Painting and Anatomy at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and lecturer in Anatomy at the Russian Academy of Fine Arts (RAA) in Florence. He collaborates with the Regional Council of Tuscany, the Farsetti Gallery in Florence, the Kaos Balletto dance school in Florence and Giunti Editore. She collaborates with the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence, which works to protect children, for a project of teaching art for children in difficulty . 

She collaborates as a researcher and professor of art therapy in an international project with New York University, Columbia University of New York e ilMarkMorris Dance Center in New York on research for the treatment of degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and '' establishment of a University Master on Art at the service of Neurological Sciences .
