The second edition of Duality opens on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the MA-EC Gallery. Nothing is as it is. appears?, a group exhibition curated by Elisabetta Roncati and Yishun Gao . The exhibition is in collaboration with A4U and ADArt .

Elisabetta Roncati writes: “ In a present in which the boundary between truth and fiction, between reality and representation appears increasingly fragile, duality can no longer be understood as a simple opposition between two poles.

The question in the title of this group exhibition, "Nothing is as it appears?", is itself a critical act: an invitation to question what we see and what we are accustomed to recognizing as real. Duality today has become a state of coexistence in which opposites are not resolved, but remain in tension.

Duality. Nothing is as it appears? stems from the awareness that the absolute does not exist, that every form is the result of a temporary equilibrium, and that every identity, vision, or structure contains within itself the seed of its own contradiction. The artists involved create a panorama in which presence and absence, fullness and emptiness, visible and invisible alternate without ever definitively settling.

The exhibition Duality. Nothing is as it appears? offers no solutions or alternative truths.

The question he poses remains deliberately open: the duality is not resolved by inviting the viewer to question his own gaze, to doubt what appears evident and above all to accept that complexity is not a problem to be solved, but a condition to be inhabited .”

For the second edition of the Duality exhibition, MA-EC Gallery has selected a group of international artists who will exhibit paintings, ceramics, photographs and site-specific installations.
